Here for a very nice and hard to find set of 4 Industrial chairs type ´Pyramid´ designed by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel in 1960. The Pyramid chair was a chair, designed to be as wel functional, as nice and cheap to produce, and because Rietveld managed to put all those 3 desires in his design this chair won a famous ‘Signe d’Or’. These chairs are from the first series and are rare also because the black frame was not that common as grey and these have arm rest which was an extra but seats much better ofcourse. Chairs have a black metal frame and a teak plywood seat and back which is what I think the nicest combination. Frames have some age wear, which is normal from usage. Chair would look great in an industrial modern design interior.
