Ultra rare side table by Willy van der Meeren for Tubax 1955. This boomerang table is often confused to be Jean Prouve & Charlotte Perriand, but it was most certainly inspired by those designs. This table is very rare as the oval one is more seen and sold I guess. The table is documented in the Willy van der Meeren Atomium catalogue, page 70. The table is in PERFECT original vintage condition without any damage or restoration. The top was made of multiplex teak and the feet have a metal v structure which is black painted. The table would be a great addition to any Belgian modernist design collection or interior.
