Rare armchair designed by Theo de Wit for EMS Overschie, Rotterdam 1930. This chair was designed for and made by EMS Overschie (Eerste Mechanische Stoelenfabriek) first mechanical chairs factory. This factory was shut down in 1932 so the chair has to be made before that time. This unique chair has an amazing shaped base, that’s what makes this chair unique in its kind. The chair is completely original and in very good well kept condition for its age. Very nice patina from age and usage. Hardly any rust on the chrome. Very good pristine condition. Marked accordingly.
