Very nice and unique pair of architectural stools designed by Pieter Maris, Weesp Holland 1960. This unusual shaped set of stools were made of white painted plywood and wenge wooden seats with unusual shape. The stools have a fantastic nice shaped seat which is not so easy visibly. These stools are for someone who likes to have something special and unique. The stools were designed to use with a rare Martin Visser writing table, also in white and wenge. The stools were designed and made for his own office in 1960. Both in good original condition with normal age and user wear.

Pieter Maris studied at the Rietveld Acadamie and finished that study in 1959. A year after he designed this table and 2 stools for his home from the architects company where he was working at the time. The stools and table never went into production so are both unique. The stools come with a copy of the original drawing of it.
