Here for one of the nicest and known Dutch pieces ever in Dutch Modernism history. This credenza, type DU-03 designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe in 1958. Very elegant modernist teak sideboard with fantastic simple black metal feet and black plastic integrated handles for ultimate grip and looks. Sideboard was made of very nice and warm teak veneer and still has a nice warm color. On the left a large storage compartment with shelve, in the middle as well and on the right 4 drawers with the typical bentwood drawers, which is typical for the designs by Braakman. He designed these drawers so there couldn’t be any small pieces in the corner of the drawer. This sideboard would be a true centerpiece of attention in any mid century modern design interior! Very good vintage condition, with only very minimal user and age wear! As you can see on the pictures this sideboard still have a fantastic original color.
