Rare early ‘Bilia’ table lamp Model no. 2474 designed by Gio Ponti, manufactured by Fontana Arte, Italy 1960. This rare early lamp has an aluminum weighted base and a frosted matt glass globe. The lamp gives very nice and warm spherical light when lit. The lamp is in original condition with minor wear from age and usage. The glass globe has some minor wear to it but all over the lamp looks really nice. This can use a E14 bulb up to 40 watt.
