Rare early ceiling fixture designed by Gino Sarfatti, Arteluce Milan 1952. This fantastic balance ceiling lamp is a typical lamp from the beginning 1950s. This lamp was used in several interiors by Albini who was a close friend of Sarfatti, I have documentation available from this piece and the Albini interiors. Plus it is marked Arteluce. I have had this lamp before in yellow, this one has a red shade with die cut pattern all over for a nice light effect. The lamp has a black weight, original dust wire and a black ceiling plate which is Arteluce signed on the inside. This lamp is ultra hard to find and I never thought to find another one ever again. The condition of the shade is used, the paint has some loss and fading but it is still original, the rest is in very good condition. Very hard to find and rare piece, must have for any collector.
