Sorry, not for sale but to pay a tribute to the recently passed away Friso Kramer we wanted to showcase this extremely rare set of 12 different unicolor Revolt chairs which took us nearly 10 years to get complete. This set contains all 12 colors that were originally used for the Revolt chairs. Blue, yellow, black, red, green, light grey, bordeaux, mustard, brown, white, liver and dark grey. Friso Kramer originally wanted the chairs only to be produced in 1 color, frame and seating in the same color, but because of commercial purposes Ahrend didn’t agree and manufactured the chairs in any possible combination. This is for a rare set of 12 unicolor chairs, totally in 1 color. This is how Friso Kramer saw the chairs at its best, and we cannot disagree.

The designs of Friso Kramer are highly sought after because of their progressive designs. Even though this chair was designed in 1953, this is still in production at Ahrend. With few modern changes to the materials but the shape is still identical. Friso Kramer was a functionalist, all of his pieces are well thought about and amazingly executed. Even though most of his designs were produced in large numbers the process before that was really intense and time taking. And the result of that was a great production process with fantastic ergonomic result.
