This super sweet small and rare sideboard, type DU-04 designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe in 1958. Very elegant modernist teak sideboard with fantastic simple black metal feet and black plastic integrated handles for ultimate grip. Sideboard was made of very nice and warm teak veneer and still has a nice warm color. On the left a large storage compartment with shelve, on the right 4 drawers with the typical bentwood drawers, which is typical for the designs by Braakman. He designed these drawers so there couldn’t be any small pieces in the corner of the drawer. This sideboard would be a true centerpiece of attention in any mid century modern design interior! Very good (perfect if possible) vintage condition, with only VERY minimal user and age wear!
