Very nice and unique architectural dining table designed by Pieter Maris, Weesp Holland 1960. This unusual shaped table has an Oregon pine frame and a brown vinyl top. The table has a fantastic nice shaped frame and structure which is unfortunately mainly under the table but also partly visible from the side. The legs also have a nice shape. The table was designed and made for his own office in 1960.
Pieter Maris studied at the Rietveld Acadamie and finished that study in 1959. A year after he designed this table and 2 stools for his home from the architects company where he was working at the time. The stools and table never went into production so are both unique. The table comes with a copy of the original drawing of it. The table is in very good original condition with only minor wear from age and usage. Super nicely shaped and functional dining or working table.
