Magnificent pair of modernist floor lamps model ST84 designed by Johan Niegeman and manufactured by Artiforte in 1957. This simple modernist shaped lamp is a very decorative piece of lighting. It was awarded at the Triennale Milaan 1967 and won a Diplome d’honneur at Expo58 in Brussels. This lamp has a TL lamp inside for warm and equal light when lit. This lamp was one of the most expensive lamps made by Artiforte, it’s all quality here. That’s probably why you don’t see them often. This lamp was made in a very low production process, all lamps are hand built and can differ a little. It has a grey and black lacquered base and a white Lucite diffuser shade. This lamp is still in very good original vintage condition with very nice patina from age. Would adapt all modern interiors, and gives very nice light when lit. This is more a light sculpture.
