Hala HThA Busquet floor lamp from the Sun Series, Zeist 1955
Height: 155 cm
Width: 50 cm
Depth: 30 cm
Super rare floor lamp designed by HThA Busquet for Hala, Zeist 1955. This rare floor lamp is the nicest one ever made by Hala and probably also the rarest one, I only saw this a few times in the last 10 years. This adjustable floor lamp has a unique Eiffel shaped and weighted base and a very nice ‘sun’ called shade as the inside can rotate for different diffused light. This lamp is in a fantastic original condition and it works perfectly. The arm is adjustable in different positions so you can use it as reading lamp. The foot has a black coating and a nickel adjusting system. The screw on top of the shade is also impressed 'Hala Zeist'. Busquet was a well-known designer in France during the 30s and 40s, in the 50s he designed a lot of lamps for Hala, including this one. Take this maybe one chance to buy this super rare floor lamp in original condition.
