Anvia JJM Hoogervorst double shaded floor lamp Holland 1950
Height: 160 cm
Width: 65 cm
Depth: 55 cm
Super rare floor lamp designed by JJM Hoogervorst for Anvia, Almelo 1950. This double shaded floor lamp is an early production of Anvia, its a very early lamp by Anvia and it has some hand produced parts on it. It has a black lacquered base, nickle plated details, white lacquered arm and 2 shades in yellow and red lacquer. The shades have die cut dot pattern around the rim. This lamp is inspired on the French 1950s craze and looks a lot like the lamps of Jacques Biny or Pierre Guariche. The lamp is not marked with the Anvia sticker on the inside but we had a similar lamp that was marked so we kno wits Anvia for sure. This lamp is quite unique as this is only the third time I see it. Would be great to use it as a reading lamp and would fit any mid century modern related design interior. Lamp is in very good refinished condition and has only minimal wear due to age and usage. A really Dutch modernist beauty here!
