Stilnovo ceiling lamps Model 1090 by Bruno Gatta, Italy 1954

Nice pair of ceiling lamps model 1090 designed by Bruno Gatta for Stilnovo, Italy 1954. This is for a very nice modernist shaped pendant lamp set with an aluminum shade, and a large white opaline glass diffuser shade. The lamp hangs on its 3 electrical wires and gives very nice diffused light when lit. Very hard to find in a matching pair. Lamps are rewired and ready to use. This lamp is documented in Domus 1959 on a Stilnovo advertisement. Stilnovo was one of the better Italian light manufacturers together with Arteluce and Arredoluce.
We built a nice Stilnovo collection in the last years where some of the items are now shown on our website. All pieces are original Stilnovo productions, most are marked and or documented in books. All our lights are checked, cleaned and are suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter.
