Ko Verzuu Jeep by Ado Holland 1945
Height: 10 cm
Width: 24 cm
Depth: 10 cm
Very nice and rare toy jeep designed by Ko Verzuu for Ado Holland in 1945. Ado means Arbeid door onvolwaardigen, translated; labor by incapacitated, which makes this an even more special piece. Toys by Ado are being highly collected at the moment, even more than ever cause this is very decorative combined with 1950s furniture from all countries! Ado toys have a great charm because of their played look and original age wear. Ko Verzuu inspired his designed on ‘De Stijl’ bij Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. In this jeep you can see a lot of comparisons with 'De Stijl' and Gerrit Rietveld. Though this car doesn’t have a lot of colors you can see the style influences to it. This jeep is in a very nice used condition, complete and original. Marked with the metal ADO plate at the back. Would be an amazing decorative addition to any interior.
