Rare wall lamp designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar for Nila Lights Tilburg, Utrecht 1984. This rare wall lamp is model number N1331, produced by Marius van den Nieuwelaar in very small numbers. Only 1 of this lamp is known in the Cuypershuis Roermond. Not more than 10 of these were made so this is a limited produced wall lamp. Nicely multi-color wall lamp made of plexi with a TL in the middle. This is more a work of art than a lamp. The lamp is marked with the Nila Lights sticker at the back. And at the back there is a very small chip hardly visible. The lamp has the original transformer is still there and it’s functioning perfectly.
Provenance: Caron & Stevens, first Dutch law firm founded by Willem Stevens who was founder of the tax law. This lamp was from the Caron & Stevens art collection.
