Anvia JJM Hoogervorst pendant lamp 1950

Spectacular pendant lamp designed by JJM Hoogervorst for Anvia, Almelo Holland 1950. This is for a very early example of the Anvia history, probably one of the very first lamps ever designed by Hoogervorst. Anvia started making lamps in the early 1950s and this lamp was one of those lamps. They only worked with brass in the 1950s, later on they switched to metal and aluminum because it was cheaper to make. The lamp has brass arms and fixture, very nice organic nearly Mouille shaped shades in 5 different colors. The lamp is rewired, fully checked and usable outside the EU also. Works perfectly and needs normal E27 bulbs. The lamp shades are adjustable and rotatable. Easy to wall hang and in excellent original condition. Brass has a nice patina from age and usage, it’s possible to have it shiny if wanted but it’s still fully original. It’s the first time I have seen this lamp, it’s a rare beauty. Gives amazing warm light when lit.
