Free-blown and formed colorless glass by Floris Meydam with red and white inside. This one-off vase is signed and numbered and in perfect condition. Highly decorative piece of glass.
Floris Meydam (1919 – 2011) has designed lots of glass objects for the Leerdam Factory in the 1950s. His work was important for the development of an international style concerning the glass arts, besides artists like Flavio Poli, Per Lütken and Vicke Lindstrand. Typical for his work are the asymmetric forms and beautiful bright colors.
