Here for a fantastic early edition Dutch industrial designed counter balance ceiling lamp. This lamp is designed by JJM Hoogervorst for Anvia Almelo in 1957. Great dynamic shaped ceiling balance lamp, made after the similar lamp by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce. Hard to find in such a nice condition and fifties ‘industrial’ red color, white bars with red shade and weight. Can be rotated and adjusted in angle easily changing the weight at the end. This weight uses a screw system, this is an ingenious mechanism which is from the first series, see the nice detailed pictures of the screws and the weight. Easy to hang using only 2 screws. The red parts have been redone because they were in bad condition. Great shaped, typical fifties lamp, as well for the shape as the color. This lamp would look great in any modernist design interior or home.
