Pastoe Buffet Cees Braakman from the Combex series 1953
Height: 122 cm
Width: 131 cm
Depth: 47,5 cm
Super rare high buffet designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe UMS in 1953. This rare buffet is from the early combex series and exists in 2 varieties, this is the nicest one with the wire metal feet and black drawers. This was made of beech and has harmonica folding doors, with shelves and sliding shelves behind.Original Pastoe key is included. Also a die cut wooden shelve below which is very nice in detail. The Buffet is type CM01 and documented in the ’53 and ’54 catalogue. Only produced for a short period so that’s why it’s much rarer than regular Pastoe pieces, and much nicer anyway. I have only seen this cabinet twice. Take you maybe one chance to buy this rare and progressive piece of Dutch modernism.
