Willy van der Meeren wardrobe for Tubax 1950
Height: 175 cm
Width: 80 cm
Depth: 54 cm
Super nice wardrobe designed by Willy van der Meeren for Tubax in 1950. This social Belgian piece of furniture was designed as wardrobe for schools in the 1950. Now these are highly wanted and being used as kitchen cabinets, hall wardrobes, bedroom lockers etc. A nice combination of the teak wood, black and colored metal makes this a typical fifties periodical piece of furniture. On the left a bar to hang clothes, on the right 2 shelves and one in the bottom to put clothes on. The cabinet is in very good used condition, has some tiny pin holes from small nails where they put notes on it, hard to see cause they are really small. Heavy and good quality for daily usage. Would look great in any modernist home, interior or office.
