Verner Panton coat stand for J. Luber 1959
Height: 151 cm
Width: 60 cm
Depth: 60 cm
Here for an extremely rare early edition coat stand, designed by Verner Panton for J. Luber in 1959. This rare and unknown Panton coat stand is probably one of the rarer, earlier items he designed in his career, the early edition is hard to find, I guess because this was made before he became a famous and wanted designer. This was documented in the Panton book only, what a rarity here! This metal wire framed coat stand is in a very nice chromed metal and has a fantastic shape. It is very easy in use as it has many ways to put clothes on, many hooks and corners make it easy to hang nearly 50 jackets on I think. The coat stand is very heavy as this is what you should expect of designs by Verner Panton of course. Would adapt modern to industrial designs, easy to combine with anything.
