Wim Rietveld Gispen No. 6320 floor lamp 1953
Height: 166 cm
Width: 110 cm
Depth: 13 cm
Super rare floor lamp and one of the nicest Dutch lamps around, this floor lamp was designed by Wim Rietveld (son of Gerrit Th Rietveld) for Gispen, Culemborg 1953. This super cool shaped lamp was designed before the more famous Panama series lamps which are more common but also rare. This fantastic floor lamp has a heavy black cricket shaped foot made of massive metal an lacquered in shiny black, it has a white counter balance arm with a black Bakelite end and a very nice original red colored shade. The lamp is adjustable in many different positions because of the pivoting arm and looks just nice always. A very good investment cause the industrial modernism prices are rising by the day. It’s been a long while since I’ve seen this lamp in this perfect condition. Would look amazing in any Dutch modernist home or office.
