Han Pieck Lawo chair for Lawo Ommen 1946
Height: 76 cm
Width: 67 cm
Depth: 85 cm
Important Dutch modernist chair designed by Han Pieck for Lawo, Ommen the Netherlands 1946. This chair was the first to be made under high-frequency in the Netherlands. A total production of 2000 was planned to be made but not all worked and he got bankrupt because of this so he had to quit producing somewhere over 1300, this is one of the first ones he made, it has number 282. This chair has a fantastic transparent shape and has a very nice color of the beech wood which is still original the original glaze. This chair comes from first owner and he used the chair which is to be seen but very nice actually. The chair is in very nice used condition, on the back of the foot it has a veneer damage which can be seen on the pictures. The chair is 100 % original which is important for this chair I think. Would be a great center piece of attention in any modern design interior or office. A true piece to love and admire.
