Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy butterfly chair for Knoll ca 1970
Height: 95 cm
Width: 85 cm
Depth: 90 cm
Very cool Butterfly chair which is a design icon at the moment. This unlicensed chair has been officially designed by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy in 1938 and has been made and copied by several companies. This chair was the official release by Knoll from 1960-1970. These chairs, both leather and the suede are completely original and have fantastic user patine. Both chairs come from first owners who bought this at a well known design store and sold them as Knoll at the days. This is the only chair I am sure of the producer and that is Knoll. The black one has very thick black leather and is in perfect shape, the brown one was made of very thick suede and has a very nice user patine and can be used for several more years easily. Look great in a set but can be bought separate. Frame exists in 5 parts for easy transport. Would look amazing in any modern design interior or rooftop terrace. The suede version is sold.
