Han Pieck Lawo chair for Lawo Ommen 1946
Height: 73 cm
Width: 66 cm
Depth: 85 cm
Important modernist chair designed by Han Pieck for Lawo, Ommen the Netherlands. This chair was the first to be made under high-frequency in the Netherlands. A total production of 2000 was planned to be made but not all worked and he got bankrupt because of this so he had to quit producing somewhere over 1300, this is probably one of the last ones he made. This chair has a fantastic transparent shape and has a very nice color of the beech wood which is still original. This chair comes from a doctor’s office and he practically never used it which can be seen to the nice original glaze this chair still has. Though it’s nearly impossible, this chair is in perfect original condition. Would be a great center piece of attention in any modern design interior or office.
