This is for a very nice early edition of the Charles and Ray Eames famous Lounge chair, one of the iconic designs of the 20th century that timelessly blends elegant, old-fashioned luxury and visionary modernism. Charles and Ray Eames paired the warm, inviting look of seductively soft leather with the sleek form of molded plywood, then balanced the seat on a rugged star-shaped base. This chair was made between 1960 and 1970, makes this a rare early one which can be seen to the patina of the leather.
