Verner Panton coat stand for J. Luber 1959
Height: 151 cm
Width: 60 cm
Depth: 60 cm
Here for an extremely rare coat stand, designed by Verner Panton for J. Luber in 1959. You have to know it, or you’ll blow it. This unknown Panton coat stand is probably one of the rarer, earlier items he designed in his career, nowhere to be found on the net, I guess because this was made before he became a famous and wanted designer. No single design catalogue, or other documentation contains this coat stand, what a rarity here! This metal wire framed coat stand is in a very nice black coated color and has a fantastic shape. It is very easy in use as it has many ways to put clothes on, many hooks and corners make it easy to hang nearly 50 jackets on I think. The coat stand is very heavy as this is what you should expect of designs by Verner Panton of course. Try finding it somewhere, where else than on midmod-design.com… Would adapt modern to industrial designs.
