Very nice wall / ceiling lamp, designed by Gatta for Stilnovo Italy in 1954. This lamp is often sold as Sarfatti but Sarfatti only designed for Arteluce and this lamp was made by competitor of Arteluce; Stilnovo. I have this lamp documented as to be Gatta in an old Stilnovo importer catalogue, if interested the picture is on request. Most aren’t marked but this one still has the original sticker of Stilnovo Milano on the inside of the shade, which is in fact also proof to be original Stilnovo and not Sarfatti. This lamp has a rare original red shade which is very nice for this lamp as most were sold in white, I haven’t seen one before with this original sticker and red shade. It has a white wall plate and a brass bar. The lamp is in good condition for its age with only minimal wear due to age and usage to the shade as can be seen on the pictures!
