Here for an EXTREMELY rare table lamp, designed by Joe Colombo, handmade for Kartell 1964. This is the very first pre production, or what they call prototype lamp of this lamp made in ebanil plastic. Joe Colombo designed numerous lamps in this series with round rotatable shades and all in very few production numbers when they were in production with Kartell. As before they went into production they were handmade as can be seen to the rough finishing’s in the details and this was not made of smooth plastic but it was made of cut plastic so it could bend easily and the model could be made in round shape by hand and heat, they call this ebanil. VERY hard to find piece, I have no idea how many (or less) of these were made but I don’t think there will be more than 10! Take this maybe one chance to buy one, real collectable piece here!
