RARE kids chair by Koo Verzuu for Ado 1932
Height: 62 cm
Width: 36 cm
Depth: 35 cm
Here for my favorite kids chair, designed by Ko Verzuu for Ado in 1932. This is a very rare and hard to find early piece of kids furniture made by Ado in the early beginning of Ado, 1930s. Ado means, Arbeid door onvolwaardigen, meaning; Labor by incapacitated, which makes this an even more special piece if you ask me. This chair is visible inspired by De Haagse School, De Stijl and Gerrit Th Rietveld as can be seen about the coloring, shape and use of wood connections. The chair has a Bordeaux red color combined with grey and yellow ends, it is in used condition. I really don’t like to sell this chair cause it is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! Private collection here.
